Best Forex Affiliate Programs:
CPA, IB and Recurring Compared
Seven forex affiliate programs side by side: what each one actually pays, what a referral has to do before you see a cent, and which payout model fits your audience. Figures come from each program's own pages wherever they publish them.
The best forex affiliate program depends on what your audience is willing to do. If they will open and fund a live broker account, broker CPA deals pay the most per head, from a few hundred dollars per qualified client. If they are learning or practising, a recurring software program pays less per head but needs no deposit, so far more of your clicks turn into commission. The FxBacktest forex affiliate program sits in the second group: 30% of every payment, for as long as a referral stays subscribed.
The three payout models
Every forex affiliate program pays one of three ways. The headline number only means something once you know which one you are looking at.
- One-off
CPA (cost per acquisition)
A fixed payment per referred client who qualifies, which usually means a minimum deposit plus some trading activity. The amount depends on the client's country. It's the biggest number per head, but you're paid once, and only for the referrals who fund a live account. - Volume-based
IB / revenue share
A share of the spread or commission the broker earns on your referrals' trades, sometimes paid as a rebate per lot. It recurs, but it rises and falls with how much they trade, and it stops when they stop trading or blow the account. - Subscription
Recurring SaaS commission
A percentage of every subscription payment to a trading tool: charting, backtesting, journals. A smaller amount per head, but nobody has to risk money, so it converts much better with beginners, students and practice-first audiences.
Forex affiliate programs compared
Listed by type, not ranked. Where a program does not publish its rates openly, the row says so and gives the third-party figure, labelled as such.
| Program | Type | What it pays | Recurring | Referral must deposit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| FxBacktest | Backtesting software | 30% of every payment, incl. renewals, yearly and lifetime plans | Yes, while subscribed | No, free plan first |
| FX Replay | Backtesting software | 20% recurring; referrals get 15% off; 60-day cookie | Yes | No |
| TradingView | Charting software | Fixed one-time commission per first subscription, $10 (Essential monthly) to $400 (Ultimate annual) | No for new partners* | No |
| Exness | Broker | IB: up to 40% of revenue from referred clients' trades. Affiliate: one-time CPA per qualified client (amount not published) | IB yes, CPA no | Yes |
| Pepperstone | Broker | CPA from US$300 to US$800 per referral, by country group | No | Yes |
| XM | Broker | CPA and per-lot rebates by country; not published openly. Review sites quote CPA up to about $1,000 | Rebates yes, CPA no | Yes |
| IC Markets | Broker | CPA plan per its partner agreement; rates not published. Review sites quote $250–$650 CPA | Varies by deal | Yes |
Read from each program's public pages on 1 November 2026. * TradingView pays 30% recurring only to legacy partners who joined before 10 May 2023. Broker rates change by country and deal, so confirm current terms with the program before you promote it.
What "high paying" actually means
Lists of high paying forex affiliate programs sort by the headline CPA. That headline is the maximum for the best country tier, paid only for referrals who deposit and trade enough to qualify. What you actually earn is clicks × the share who qualify × the payout, and the middle number is where audiences differ.
A broker CPA works when your audience already trades live and is ready to switch broker. A beginner, a student or a prop-firm candidate who is still practising will rarely fund an account, so a $600 CPA they never trigger pays nothing. The same visitor will often start a free trading tool, and some of them upgrade.
| Illustration: 50 paying referrals | Per referral | First year | Needs a live deposit |
|---|---|---|---|
| FxBacktest Ultra monthly (€39 × 30%) | €11.70 / month | €7,020 if all stay 12 months | No |
| FxBacktest Pro monthly (€12 × 30%) | €3.60 / month | €2,160 if all stay 12 months | No |
| Broker CPA at US$300–$800 | Paid once | $15,000–$40,000 if all 50 qualify | Yes |
Arithmetic illustration, not an earnings promise. Getting 50 qualified depositors usually takes far more clicks than getting 50 paying subscribers to a tool with a free plan.
Forex CPA affiliate programs, explained
- Qualification rulesA CPA is paid when a referral hits the broker's milestones: typically a minimum net deposit and a number of trades or lots. Pepperstone, for example, pays as clients reach set goals on their journey. Read the exact rule before you promote: it decides what share of your signups ever pays.
- Country tiersCPA amounts are set by the country the client registers from, so the top figure in an ad usually covers a handful of high-value countries. Many brokers also refuse affiliates or clients from certain jurisdictions, and some rewards are unavailable in the EEA, UK and Australia.
- Hybrid dealsExperienced partners can often negotiate a hybrid: a smaller CPA plus a revenue share. These are custom terms, not a published rate, and they usually need proven volume first.
- Compliance loadBroker programs require visible risk warnings, no profit promises and no trading advice without a licence. Your content carries the liability if it breaks these rules, and a breach can void unpaid commission.
How to choose a forex affiliate program
- Match the audienceLive traders suit a broker CPA or IB deal. Learners, students and strategy testers suit a software program with a free first step.
- Read the triggerFind out exactly what a referral has to do before you are paid: deposit, trade a set volume, or simply subscribe.
- Recurring vs one-offA one-off payout earns once; a recurring one compounds as long as the product keeps its customers.
- Payout termsCheck the minimum threshold, hold period, payout method and clawback rules for refunds and chargebacks.

Forex Affiliate Programs FAQ
What is the best forex affiliate program?
It depends on your audience. For live traders ready to switch broker, a broker CPA such as Pepperstone's US$300–$800 per qualified referral pays the most per head. For learners and strategy testers who won't fund a live account yet, a recurring software program such as FxBacktest's 30% recurring converts far more of your clicks.
Which forex affiliate programs pay the highest commission?
Per referral, broker CPA deals pay the most: published and third-party figures run from a few hundred dollars up to about $1,000 for top country tiers. Those amounts are paid once and only for referrals who deposit and trade enough to qualify.
What is forex CPA?
CPA (cost per acquisition) is a one-time payment a broker makes for each referred client who qualifies, usually by meeting a minimum deposit and a trading requirement. The amount depends on the client's country.
What is the difference between a forex IB and an affiliate?
An introducing broker (IB) earns a share of the spread or commission on referrals' trades for as long as they trade. An affiliate in a broker's CPA program is paid once per qualified client. Software affiliate programs pay a share of subscription payments instead.
Are there forex affiliate programs that don't require a deposit?
Yes. Trading software programs pay when a referral subscribes, not when they fund a broker account. FxBacktest pays 30% recurring, FX Replay 20% recurring, and TradingView a fixed one-time commission for new partners.
How do I start forex affiliate marketing?
Pick a program that matches your audience, join for free, and share your link where you already publish: YouTube descriptions, Discord, Telegram, X or a blog. Add the required risk warning and disclose that it's an affiliate link.
