Footprint chart,
replayed on real ticks
Every candle opened up: selling × buying at each price, the busiest row outlined, the delta underneath.
Four things to read
Where the POC sits
Busiest row at the extreme = the push was met.
Delta vs colour
Up candle on net selling is fragile.
Diagonal imbalances
Three one-sided rows = a stacked imbalance.
Thin rows
Gaps inside the candle often get revisited.
How it works in the app
Add it
Indicators → Order Flow → Footprint. Rows: 14 by default.
Zoom in
The numbers draw once candles are wide enough to hold them.
Ultra ticks
The grid needs real ticks. Other plans see only an estimated delta, marked ≈.
Replay forward
The forming candle counts only the ticks already played.

Footprint chart — FAQ
What is a footprint chart?
A chart that shows, for every price inside a candle, how much trading happened on the sell side and the buy side — so you see where each side was aggressive, not just the open and close.
What do the numbers mean?
Each row reads sells × buys: down-tick and up-tick prints at that price. The outlined row is the candle's point of control; the number underneath is its delta.
Which plan do I need for the footprint?
The full footprint grid needs real tick data, which comes with Ultra. Other plans see each candle's estimated delta only.
Why is my footprint blank?
Either the candles are too narrow — zoom in or lower the timeframe — or the chart is not on real ticks. The note on the chart says which.
Is a forex footprint real volume?
No. Forex has no central exchange, so it counts prints classified with the tick rule on the mid price — quote activity, not exchange volume.
