A fifth of the day happens in two hours
Across 3,378 sessions in Eastern time, the two hours after the New York open carry 20.6% of the Nasdaq's daily movement and the cash session carries 54.9% of it. The closing hour sets the day's high more often than the open does.

9,722 session breaks measured. The median US100 overnight gap is 11.11 points and 89.3% fill within 24 hours — but roughly 5.5% of nights gap more than half a daily range, which is what an overnight stop actually has to survive.

How much Nasdaq history can I replay? +
Daily and hourly bars from May 2013 — more than 3,400 sessions and around 70,000 hourly bars. Lower timeframes cover less: M30 from 2017, M15 from 2022, M5 from 2025, M1 from 2026.
Do I need to install anything? +
No. It runs in the browser on Windows, macOS, Linux, iPad and phone. No MetaTrader, no data download, no spreadsheet.
